OUR HISTORY

Founded: CSC was founded to provide software solutions to the Transportation Industry. The company was originally formed in 1975, using the name Tailored Trucking Systems and supplied software to trucking companies using the Burroughs hardware platform and their proprietary operating system. In 1982 we switched our direction from the proprietary Burroughs systems, to the "UNIX Open Systems" environment.

Market Base: Initially marketing to LTL carriers, CSC later added software for Truckload carriers when the economy took its toll on the LTL carriers in the late 70's. Today, in addition to marketing software solutions to LTL and Truckload carriers, we also provide software for Intermodal Drayage Companies, Contract Carriers, Bulk Carriers, Broker Operations, Freight Forwarders, Container Depots and Dump Trucking Operations.

Staff: Our Programming and Support Staffs are comprised of very seasoned individuals, the majority of which has been on board since 1992. In fact, we average over nine years of employment at CSC per person. CSC's Customer Support Department consists of software and technical/hardware support people. In addition to offering support and training via telephone, training is also available in our office in Burr Ridge, Illinois (a suburb of Chicago) or on-site. Our Programming Staff and Customer Support Staff work hand-in-hand developing and testing improvements made to our software to ensure that our users are provided with the best product available to grow their businesses.
