In this section you will find the highlights of our different
Safety Department
Modules. Interfaced with our other systems, they keep your company
running efficiently and help to keep you in compliance.
Driver
Log and Safety Features:
Provides the ability to efficiently process driver logs, as well as
keep track of driver certification requirements. It also enables printing
of driver letters, as well as tracking of driver violations. An interface
to Log Scanning is also available.
Drug Testing:
Randomly selects drivers for drug testing (including tracking the
results), keeps record of new drivers, DOT physicals, post accident and
reasonable cause tests.
Mileage Interfaces:
Freight-Link contains interfaces for three mileage database companies:
PC*MILER, Rand-McNally and Prophesy.
Point-To-Point Mileage:
Build your own points file for origination and destination locations
containing total mileage by state, highway and toll miles. This database
can also be built for you through one of our Mileage System Interfaces.
Permits:
Enter and track permits purchased by state, listing all units by type
of permit and number, cost and renewal date.
Fuel & Mileage Reporting:
Construct a well-edited and tightly controlled database of mileage,
routes, fuel usage and fuel expenses for each unit. Print reports
monthly, quarterly, or annually by state, unit, fleet and weight
category. A Fuel Card Service Interface sub-module is also available.
RTA Vehicle Maintenance:
Freight-Link is interfaced with the RTA Vehicle Maintenance System
that provides the ability to track vehicle history and costs, as well as
parts and tire inventory. You may also use this system to schedule PM's
and print Purchase Orders for your suppliers. Purchase Orders can be
updated to our Accounts Payable system. Additionally, an inquiry in
Dispatch allows the dispatcher to see if the equipment is coming up on a
PM or overdue. The dispatcher can also enter a note to the shop for the
next time the unit is in for service.
Claims:
This module provides a way to process freight claims, while checking
for duplicate claims at the time of entry
